                      The San Dimas Senior Citizen/Community   Center provides access to entertaining monthly special events and   socials that engage older adults looking to add further fun to their   daily activities. Prices may vary.
                          
                      
                      Monthly Themed Dinners: There   is nothing quite like enjoying a delicious meal with family and friends   in a festive atmosphere. Join us for a night of camaraderie, live   entertainment, and raffles! Ticket prices subject to change.
                      
                      Monthly Themed Happy Hour: Join   the fun as we enjoy light snacks, mock tails and raffle prizes! Join us   on the second Thursday of every month from 3pm-4pm. 
                      
                          Bingo: The San Dimas Senior Citizens Club invites you to a rousing afternoon of Bingo every Tuesday in the Plummer Community Building.
                      
                      Bunco: Enjoy an   exciting game where your luck changes with every roll of the dice! Bunko   fee includes games, light lunch, refreshments, and prizes. Bunko is   bi-monthly on the last Thursday of the month.

Through a multi-agency effort, the San   Dimas Senior Citizen/Community Center provides access to workshops,   screenings, and services that benefit the community in various ways.   Below is a list of ongoing services. Click here for a current schedule   and additional times:
                      
                      AARP Drive Safety: Now offered on-line at aarpdriversafety.org
                      
                      Attorney Service: Free legal consultation.   Appointments required. Appointments are every third Friday of the month.   Sponsored by Attorney Anna Valiente Gomez.
                      
                      
Blood Pressure: No appointment necessary. First come, first served. Screenings are   every first Tuesday monthly. Sponsored by the American Red Cross.
                      
                      
Financial Literacy: Free   one-on-one appointment with retired CPA and Real Estate/Mortgage   Broker. Services include: working on a monthly budget, debt management,   learning about social security  and Medicare options or creating a will   or trust.  Appointments are available on the fourth Thursday of the   month.
                          
                      
                      YWCA Case Management: The   goal is to provide high-quality, cost-effective and custom tailored   services that enable and empower seniors. Services include urgent care   management, outreach, education, nutrition through congregate dining and   home-delivered meals, transportation assistance, telephone reassurance,   and linkages with other support and services.                         California Botanic Garden is devoted to California native plants —
                          and all the wildlife and people who love them.
                        
                          California   Botanic Garden is the largest botanic garden dedicated to California   native plants, promoting botany, conservation and horticulture to   inspire, inform and educate the public and scientific community about   California's native flora. The Garden is a living museum with curated   collections of more than 22,000 California native plants, some of which   are rare or endangered. Spread across 86 acres in Claremont, California,   the Garden is located approximately 35 miles east of Los Angeles. The   Garden displays about 2000 taxa of California plants and includes those   native to the California Floristic Province.                       The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is located at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains and the Angeles National Forest.   
                      The Park offers a five mile walking loop and smaller trails. Parking for the park is available at parking lots on Mills Avenue and Mt. Baldy Road. Permits are required in the lots. Parking in the neighborhoods is restricted.
                      Park visitors should observe the rules and precautions of the Claremont Municipal Code.
